President and Lead Developer at Database Solutions Northwest, Jeff Croxford has a solid professional background, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, a Masters in Business Administration, a Law degree, and a Certificate in Project Management.  In addition, he has over 20 years of technology experience.  He spent the early parts of his career programming various mainframe and midrange environments, primarily in the Health Care field.  Once Jeff discovered relational databases and visual programming environments, he knew he had found his calling.


For the last 10 years, Jeff has been developing advanced Microsoft Access applications and SQL Server databases. His broad educational background combined with skills in interface development, database administration, and SQL Server development are an unusual combination in the IT industry.


Jeff has seen many small and medium-sized businesses struggle with technology. Often the problem isn't with the tools available at the workstation. Rather, the workforce is not aware of the tools, or they may not know how to use them effectively. Sometimes, he has seen a gap between the visions of non-technical employees and their ability to use the tools available to make those ideas work. It was this that motivated Jeff to move into database consulting.
